RitaZ’s hello world!
Another trial-and-learning goal…., podcasting!
I am well acaquainted with blogging, as I have run and keep running a couple of blogs at blogger.com with my students and with my CALL SIG colleagues in Rosario, Argentina. But this one looks different, and it’s a challenging option.
My intention is to be an active participant, but am afraid will be have to be absent for 2 weeks –Jan 24 to Febr 7– as it’s our summer holiday here and I’m travelling to Chile for a sightseeing spree.
Anyway, I know I’ll learn a lot, and am looking forward to understanding how to “syndicate and aggregate”, now in connection with ipodding.
Visitors and prospective friends are most welcome…;-))

Hi Rita, glad to see you’ve set up your blog, and I believe you’ve also recorded your first mp3 file.
I know you’re anxious to get started, and if you want to know how to get this published as a podcast, jump to the week 2 materials and you’ll find out.
We’ve designed the materials in the Moodle to cater for total beginners, which means it may seem to people like yourself who have more experience online that we’re going at a slow rate - that’s why we’re making as many of the materials available to everyone now so they can jump ahaead and start experimenting with producing their own podcasts straight away. Alll I’d ask of you is to post questions you may have about specifics to the relevant weekly forum.
Great to see how far you’ve come so far!

Thanks, Graham, for all your help and feedback….I don’t really know how to manage to be ubiquitous….;-)
I’m always trying to catch up with so much info displayed, but never manage, there’s always more and more, so I’m trying to take it easy. At times, I can’t
I’ve just read a message in which you expalin how to include a link here, http://www.pod-efl.com
I’ll see if it appears ok.
I’ve also read
> If I want to display the name ‘pod-EFL’ instead of the URL, then I
> can highlight the URL and click on the ‘html icon’ and edit the
> code:
I know nothing about html, so I can only copy and paste. Where should I do this?
More than thankfully,
Rita

Hi Rita, in Edublogs, when you write a new post, and you want to include a link - if the link button doesn’t work (this was the problem that I was writing about)the you can click on the ‘html’ button, copy and paste that bit of code and change the name and URL to what you want.
I hope this helps.
BTW I like the look of your blog! Very tasteful!
